To Be Fearless Is A Myth!

To be fearless is a myth! (Be fearless!)

To learn, you must be fearless. To progress, you need to be fearless. Confidence comes out of being fearless!

So, what does it mean to be fearless? I think fearlessness is to be aware of your weaknesses and handle them. When you are aware of your weaknesses, you can succeed by succumbing to them or working through them. But you can´t just ignore them!

You could also live on hope alone, but this will probably make you succeed at a much slower pace. If at all?

You must control the little voice inside of your head that is telling you that you´re not capable or not good enough. Challenge yourself and move out of the Fear Zone. You might feel safe in the Comfort zone, but this zone has never ever taken you anywhere. 

Fear has killed more dreams than failure ever will

If you have entered the Fear zone, you´re on your way. Good for you!! To overcome your fear, you must admit that you have one.  Look at other people you think are where you wish to be. Embrace the struggle you´re in and focus on the goal. On your journey, no one knows you. When you have reached the Growth zone, you will be a role model to others working their way up to living their dream just like you.

If you think that brave and courageous people have no fear, you are wrong. Courageous people are as afraid as anyone else. It´s the fear that makes them courageous. They just manage their fear differently. Everybody FEELS FEAR. There is no such thing as being “fearless”. People who succeed just knows how to handle their fears.


Respect the fear. Do not be afraid to be afraid! You are designed to feel fear; it is a primal survivor instinct, inherited for millions of years. It is just biology. The more confident you are about your ability to handle what scares you, the more secure you will feel. Building confidence is a result of mastering a skill and gaining experience and knowledge.

There are 5 truths about fear:

  • The fear will never go away as long as you continue to grow:

Every time you step into the unknown, you will experience fear. Fear is part of the package!  

  • The only way to get rid of the fear of doing something is to go out and…….do it.

When you do it often enough, you will no longer be afraid in that particular situation.

  • The only way to feel better about yourself is to go out and……do it.

With each little step you take into unknown territory, a pattern of strength develops. You begin feeling stronger and stronger and stronger.

  • Not only are you afraid when facing the unknown, so is everyone else!

This should be a relief. You are not the only one out there feeling fear. Everyone feels fear when taking a step into the unknown. Yes, Yes, people who have succeeded in doing what they want in life have felt fear – and done it anyway. So, can you!

  • Pushing through fear is less frightening than living with the bigger underlying fear that comes from a feeling of helplessness!

This is the one truth that some people have difficulty understanding. When you push through the fear, you will feel such a sense of relief as your feeling of helplessness subsides.
