I heard a quote today that really got me thinking.
“the only person who judge me correctly is my tailor because he takes new measurements of me every time we meet”.
Think about it for a while.
When was the last time you “measured” someone you know differently? When was the last time someone “measured” you differently?
If you are a person that is constantly learning and growing how long does it take before you are measured differently?
The reason I started to reflect when I heard this quote is that I do this myself. I have preconceived “measurements” regarding the people in my surroundings. By having this, am I allowing them to grow, and am I allowing myself to grow?
Are we preventing each other, instead of supporting each other, to be bigger and better persons?
What are your reflections on this and how do you approach others?
