Peak Performance is dependent on Passion, Grit, Determination and Willingness to do something poorly until you can do it well.

On a logical level, this makes perfect sense. We stumbled through our early efforts to read until this skill became second nature. Absorbing knowledge and then gaining practical experience by applying what you learned until a practical skill became ingrained in you is probably how you acquired most of the abilities that now feel like a part of your being.

I think we all can agree to this process. Whatever you want to learn you will probably suck at it from the start and dependent on how complex the task is that you want to master chances are that you will be rather bad for an extensive period of time.

Are you willing to commit to that?

Unfortunately, logic is not always controlling our actions. For instance, we all now that eating too much junk food may lead to health issues, obesity, and cardiac problems, but still the fast-food industry continues to grow at a rapid rate.

This is something I have struggled with tremendously throughout the years and that I still struggle with. My fear has always been what other people might think of me, so I became a chameleon. Always playing a role, adopting myself to the situation I was in, the people I was involved with and the environment I was in. Consequently, I wasn’t true to myself.

As you can imagine this can be an obstacle starting an online business, where your performance is pretty much based on your willingness to provide content and add value to others. Regardless, of what you publish some people will hate it, that’s just the way it is.

The statement above has helped me to overcome part of my fear as I have realized that whatever post online there will always be people not liking it. I can’t please everybody.

The only thing I can control is what I think of the material I post and if it is congruent to how I am and what our business, UnlimitedKarma, stands for. That´s it.

“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don´t matter and those who matter don´t mind”

Dr Seuss.

I know that I am not the only person facing this issue and therefore I am sharing this post with you. If you are true to yourself and your values. You will attract the people that are right for you and your business.

It may take time, but as long as you commit to the process, are willing to look poorly at the beginning and refuse to quit – you will reach the success that you want.
